Happy New Year! Or perhaps I should say Merry Christmas, because we’ve just added five more great videos to the Dynamic Martial Arts Wing Tsun Kung Fu Videos page. Like the last one we added, these were shot at our Bloomington, Illinois school. All but one were shot the week before Christmas or the day after Christmas because we had a couple visitors over the hoiday.
Claudio Mascarenhas was in for most of the week before Christmas training many hours every day with me. In addition to being a professional opera singer, Claudio teaches Wing Tsun classes in New York City.
Sifu Adam VanderWaal was also in for a few days right at Christmas. Adam and Ben Stevens trained literally on Christmas Eve and Christmas day, and then I joined them on Monday, the day after Christmas. They even persuaded me to step in front of the camera with them (or perhaps it was the other way around)! In the past I’ve normally posted video of my students. Most video of me has been private. This is the first time we have posted video footage with me in it. We hope you enjoy it!
Here is a taste of one of the videos. I think we should have titled it, “Why is it martial arts instructors always ask you if you have a cup on AFTER they’ve “tagged you out at home plate?” But don’t worry, Adam was fine, as you can see from the smiles and laughter.
